Background
Mason Boehm is a Pittsburgh, PA native and a graduate of Gateway High School, where he was a standout multi-sport athlete. A three-sport letterman for four consecutive years, Mason excelled in baseball, wrestling, and golf, earning recognition across the board. He was an All-Conference selection in baseball, an All-County wrestler in Allegheny County, and a WPIAL qualifier in golf — achievements that led to collegiate offers in all three sports.
Mason went on to compete as a dual-sport athlete at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, playing both baseball and golf. On the baseball field, he contributed as a middle infielder and third baseman, earning AMCC Honoree recognition for his performance and leadership. Off the college field, he continued to compete at a high level, leading the NABA summer league in 2021 with a 0.31 ERA and going a perfect 30-for-30 in stolen base attempts.
Mason’s wide-ranging athletic background and success at both the high school and collegiate levels give him a strong foundation for coaching and player development. His experience, competitiveness, and attention to detail make him a valuable asset to Gulfside Baseball Academy and the athletes he mentors.
