Saturday, January 10th at 10am
Tryouts are open to all players interested in joining our:
9U Training Program
10U – 13u Travel Teams
Limited spots are available — registration is first come, first served.
Tryout registration fee is $15, which will be credited toward your account if you are invited to join Gulfside. Returning players can register for free using their provided discount code.
Our coaching staff — made up of former collegiate and professional players — will assess each athlete’s:
Hitting (mechanics, contact, bat speed)
Fielding (footwork, glove work, arm strength)
Pitching/Catching (if applicable)
Athleticism & Coachability
Baseball IQ & Game Awareness
Overall “Feel” for the Game
We are looking for players who not only perform well, but also show instincts, discipline, and a competitive mindset.

Show up prepared to compete
Families will receive a personal phone call with feedback and placement
Players will be placed on teams based on skill level and roster availability
Players not selected for a travel team may be offered a spot in the training-only program
Baseball gear (glove, bat, helmet, cleats)
Water and any personal equipment
Wear baseball pants and arrive 20 minutes early to warm up
